Achimota Centre for Children with Autism Barrie -

Achimota Centre for Children with Autism is pleased to announce their new “After School Program” based on the principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA).  The new  program will be available weekdays from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.  The program will offer small ratios and have opportunities for social interactions facilitated by our staff.

The program will run in our large classroom facility with access to the lunch room.  We also have a large bright gym area for gross motor activities and a snoezelen room for controlled multisensory stimulation.

This program is a continuum of services and the staff will be happy to work with your present “Individualized Education Plan” (IEP).  For further details please contact us at (705) 735-2336.

The programming is at a cost of $22.50 per hour per child with a minimum 2 hour block.
